Residential Care

We provide 24-hour care for adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We provide high-quality care and support providing a safe and nurturing environment for the people we support. Our carefully adapted properties are set in attractive residential settings with easy access to the community and its resources and provide a cost-effective solution to meet the needs of the service users.

 FACILITIES

Our Residential Services are designed with a service user focus. Every home has a garden area and a sensory room fully kitted out with colourful lighting, aromatherapy equipment, a TV screen, bean bags, projectors and a variety of sensory objects to suit the varying needs of the service users.

LOCATIONS

The locations of our Residential Care Services have been carefully thought out and chosen in order to ensure good community access, a good level of safety and privacy, reasonable parking, close to public transport links, near to relevant activities with considerable garden space all while being in an affordable area.

TECHNOLOGY

We use assistive technology as it's more cost-effective than the traditional provision and also ensures that vulnerable adults are supported to make choices.  Effective Delivery of care and support can be linked to Community Alarm, e.g. bed sensors, bathroom flood detectors, to help deliver the new approach of supporting people with complex needs.

CAPACITY

Our properties are between 3 and 6 bedrooms so that each individual may transition into supported living with some ease as opposed to living in a large group of people to then move to a small independent apartment. The careful design of circulation and floor space will allow comfortable movement into and around a building.

REFERRALS

2. MDT Discussion

3. Individual visits the proposed location

SECURITY

Our properties have secure boundaries especially in the garden and security locks on
all windows and doors leading outside. Our security is subtle to allow the person to wander at ease and also allow staff and carers to be more relaxed in their support. Good observation will put the carer at rest, which will help their wellbeing and this can only benefit the service user.
