STATUTORY TRAINING

This training is a legal requirement for all staff and ensures that our service meets the minimum legal requirements. This enables our staff to deliver caring, safe and effective, care and support to our service users.

This training is compulsory within our service and directly relevant to the type of service that we provide. This ensures that staff have the essential knowledge and skills to do their job properly.

MANDATORY TRAINING

CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

CPD involves training and activities that enable staff to develop new skills and understanding that promotes their Continuing Professional Development. This enables staff to continuously develop their knowledge and skills whilst motivating them in their role.

This training is required to understand the particular support needs of an individual. This enables staff to learn and understand more about the individual and to think about positive ways to provide support to them.

BESPOKE TRAINING

POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT

This specialist training provides the appropriate knowledge and skills for staff supporting people with challenging behaviour. This ensures that staff understand the reasons why people have challenging behaviour and know how to support individuals positively to have a good quality of life.
